After 35 years operating from huts in different locations, we finally secured permanent accommodation suited to our needs. We have a large nursery room with kitchen, and a room with a dedicated soft play area and sensory room. We have a large enclosed outdoor area with ramped access for the children and this is being developed over a period of time. Other rooms include an office, and toilet/shower area suitable for disabled users. We are indebted to St Gerardine School and Moray Council for helping to make this possible and we look forward to providing a much enhanced service to the children.
Latest Funding news:
We were absolutely thrilled to receive a grant from The Big Lottery Fund. This is fantastic news and will help secure the sessions for the children under 3 yrs old who come to our afternoon sessions. The grant will pay £62020 over a five year period until 2023 which will be used towards staffing costs. We are also grateful to the Robertson Trust for helping towards meeting our shortfall.
The Adam Family Foundation have generously pledged to support us with a grant of £6000 for a three year period. This will help meet the shortfall in running our afternoon sessions.
